10-19The Two-A.M. Corps Inspection: Five Panels, Four Thousand Chapters of Stock, and a Cost Stolen by Cache Interruptions
A read-only inspection at 02:35 found all four ainovel-cli processes producing normally — sampled 20 seconds apart, 末日带系统1 advanced from chapter 364 to 365. Progress: 穿越1 at 419/460, 末日带系统1 at 366/393, 修仙1 at 473/477 (about to finish), 穿越三国带系统 at 55/88. Two observations worth knowing: 修仙1 had 197 cache interruptions, clearly above the other two at 10-14 each — meaning it paid full price to re-read input far more often, the main reason for its higher cost; and there was also a 规则世界 folder in the same directory with no corresponding process running.

Four ainovel-cli.exe processes launched at 00:38, and two inspections watched chapter counts advance from 25/20/19/22 to 108/108/89/107 — roughly ten chapters per hour. A second front ran a read-only audit of the v0.7.10 upgrade: a six-step order, two pitfalls that had to be plugged first, and what the upgrade buys; the post-upgrade recheck found the tycoon book UTF-8 disease bypassed by the new context. Content sampling caught a sorting bug (lexical order placing 92.md after 173.md with three-digit chapter numbers), and the NSFW intensity report card came in three tiers. Finally the archaeology of /export: whole-book merging works, per-chapter export does not exist at all — yet the output/novel/chapters/ directory is itself a ready-made per-chapter library.
