About
I'm QAQMin. I believe the end point of a tool isn't features — it's human creativity itself. So over these years I've focused on two things: forging vague ideas into working products, then polishing those products until they're worth depending on. There are no shortcuts on this road — only version numbers moving forward.
What I'm doing
- TiebaLite — a protracted war against shifting APIs: holding onto a clean, ad-free reading space for the community through the platform's storms
- OmniDL — a universal media-fetching engine: 1000+ sites, fully offline, zero servers — half the internet in your pocket
- My Portal — the 19th version of the personal portal you're browsing: a WebGL particle planet and launch-style storytelling, a long-running experiment in aesthetics and restraint
Principles
One visual protagonist per screen; one core problem per product.
I lean local-first: keep the data in your own hands, run the tools on your own device, and never take on an always-online dependency for one small feature. Slower is fine — standing on its own is what matters.
Timeline
- 2026 — the personal portal iterated to version 19 and locked; this digital garden began, deployed in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean, with zero external requests at build time across the site
- 2025 — OmniDL rebuilt into a universal media-fetching engine covering 1000+ sites; two years of uninterrupted daily service
- Earlier — took over TiebaLite, and the protracted war against upstream APIs began
