Conquering the Second Screen: Porting the Minimal Launcher to a Dangbei Box, and a Long-Press Feature ADB Could Not Test

After the TV was finished, work moved to the Dangbei box (192.168.5.17). The full scan found all 45 uninstalls held with zero OTA reinstalls, and available memory went from 866MB to 977MB. Then the minimal launcher proven on the TV was ported over — Android 12 was simpler than Android 6 (minSdk natively satisfied, no downgrade), but there was one critical adaptation point: under Android 11+ package visibility limits, the original manifest queries declared only the LEANBACK category, so apps with only the ordinary LAUNCHER category like 小电视 would not be listed. With the launcher set as default, memory reached 1.05GB. Finally a remote move mode was added — and the long-press OK entry was untestable by ADB at all, because that box input does not support long press.
