Jin Ping Mei - Plunder System: The Coronation of 1,423 Entries

A world’s coronation does not use a crown; it uses 1,423 world-book entries, 188,027 Chinese characters, and one 2.27 MB PNG. On this day, Jin Ping Mei (Chongzhen edition) is founded at the end of the book-splitting pipeline — system name “Plunder,” protagonist Ximen Qing, stage the county of Qinghe.

I. From 100 chapters to 292 characters

The pipeline’s full picture, recorded for the file: ingest 100 chapters, 2,258,378 bytes, zero misalignment; batch_scan 20/20 (b16 failed three times on step-5’s finish_reason=length, so fill_b16.py hand-wrote 156 characters / 26 world-book / 39 events); merge 630 clusters, zero hubs (fixing “Lai Wang’er” wrongly absorbing Song Huilian / Wu Shunchen / Lai Jue, with 22 REJECT_PAIRS appended); convert_world 475 world entries plus 623 script-library entries; gen_cast 292/292, all 150 women covered, zero empty files.

The morning’s first patch belonged to the Lan family — the last of the fifty female supporting characters previously cut by tier C’s cap=150 (Mother Tao, Guijie, Wang Yueying, Huiyuan, Lai Wang’er’s wife…), a victim of the empty-file trap. Deleted and re-run, filled in. Tiers: S=8, A=36, B=48, C=200. During the re-run, step-5’s free channel threw several more 503/429s (He Chunquan, Huiyuan, Guijie, the Lan family, the Huang family), each retried to completion with exponential backoff — those battles were later written into the skill’s reference docs.

II. Eleven handwritten layers and three hard battles

After the afternoon’s “begin,” step ② gen_src started: eleven handwritten layer files (description/rules/system/nsfw/mvu/first_mes/alternate_greetings/personality/scenario/mes_example/creator_notes). The first hard battle was a write crash — llm_stream.chat returns a (text, model) tuple, and gen_src’s direct f.write(out) threw TypeError. Fixed and re-run: description at 1,594 characters, eight sections complete, Ming-dynasty register correct, NPC quick-reference for ten; ten files batched serially, and nsfw_entries hit the empty-file trap again (open() creates the file before calling the LLM, an exception leaves zero bytes, and —all would skip it permanently) — re-run to 11/11 all non-empty, 52,021 characters.

The second hard battle was the gravest: the LLM-generated mvu_entries.md fully conflicted with zod.js, six hard wounds — /world/location (zod has “current location”), /target/affection skipping a level (zod’s “target” is a name-keyed record, so it must be /target/Pan Jinlian/affection), /dao-companion/0/intimacy numeric indices (should be names too), missing realm-progress/luck/divine-power, and missing status-bar fields. The path table and status-bar template were rewritten verbatim against zod.js. The third: MVU entries’ GROUP fell back to the filename — the root cause was the LLM not outputting a CONTENT: marker, so build_card’s headers regex failed and took the fallback branch. KEYS:/CONTENT: filled in, GROUP restored to MVU.

III. Coronation and ascension ceremony

build_card passed on the first run (and again after the CONTENT fix): 1,423 entries, 188,027 characters, PNG 2,268,813 bytes. Groups: system 20, rules 8, NSFW 1, MVU 4, characters S8/A36/B48/C200, world systems 6/techniques-artifacts 28/locations 119/factions 47/rules 135/misc 140, script library 623. validate: 0 ISSUE, 0 WARNING — 67 constant entries, 292 characters (149 women with conquest hints), 475 world entries, 1 default plus 5 alternate openings. Two risk points self-checked to confirm they were not false passes: zod’s SYS_KEY had been replaced with the quoted “Plunder” (a legal JS key, registrable by MVU), and the regex’s {SYS} placeholder had zero residue.

The final command was “package the output into a folder on the desktop”: C:\Users\Min\Desktop\Jin Ping Mei - Plunder System\, 10 MB, 314 files — cards (PNG+JSON), world book, 292 character entries, 2 world entries, 11 handwritten layers, 6 pipeline records (including config.py, world_basics.md, merge_report, the full 100-chapter text), README.md. The PNG was verified readable: four chunks, all CRCs passing, the chara chunk decoding to 1,423 entries, consistent with the JSON source; description 1,594 characters, first_mes 965, five alternate openings, tavern_helper’s two scripts (MVU bundle plus ZOD schema), and five regex scripts all present. The original Desktop\book-splitting toolkit untouched; the whole pipeline used only step-5-preview.

IV. The night’s continuation

The delivery did not end there. That night Hermes also ran the REA and Tencent Video APK expedition (recorded separately), and the Jin Ping Mei story has its sequel in ZCode’s clinic — the desktop’s old card was fully rebuilt (cultivation tree swapped for a manners tree, nine mines cleared). One book, two workshops, two kinds of death, each in its place.
